Honua Kai is one of the best resorts we have stayed in. It is located close to everything you want on vacation. Dukes was fabulous for breakfast and diner. The 2 bedroom condo had everything you need to make our stay enjoyable. The pool, workout room and the beach were just steps away. I recommend this highly!

Date of Stay | October 21, 2012I have never rented through VRBO or private party but Barb really made the process easy. The Honua Kai is by far one of, if not the nicest properties on Maui. The owner of unit #306 has it set up right for a busy family. It has it all; modern accomodations, clean unit and grounds, family of 5 friendly and spacious, full kitchen and DUKES on site next to the fabulous pools. We would love to stay here again. | |

We did not want to leave! The view of the mountains from the living room was breathtaking, and we enjoyed our evenings on the patio watching the beautiful Maui sunset while listening to the waves from the beach that was just feet away. Our condo was beautifully decorated, spacious and extremely clean. It was well appointed with modern appliances, dishes, glassware, etc. and we loved having everything we needed right there. We really appreciated the concierge service and were able to sit with someone who helped us plan our activities and then booked each excursion for us at no extra cost. We liked having access to fine dining without leaving the resort. The atmosphere and the food at Duke’s restaurant on the beach were excellent. We are so glad Honua Kai was recommended for our stay in Maui. We were very comfortable and found everything we needed for a relaxing, enjoyable vacation. We look forward to our next stay at the resort. Our kudos to the property manager - everything was very well maintained. If you reserve this condo, you will be pleased!

Unbelievable Stay!

My husband and I stayed in this condo at the beginning of June just after the owners had completed a renovation of the condo, replacing all floors with Travertine tiles. What an impression! This condo is stunning and the new flooring really makes it feel special and high end. The views of the beach from the lanai are great. We loved sitting on the lanai every morning enjoying our coffee and listening to the waves on the beach. Everything you could want for your vacation is included. The owners have even supplied beach chairs and boogie boards for guest use. We discovered that this side of the building gets the least amount of wind and no matter how hard it was blowing, we never had to close the bi-fold doors or move inside. It's also very private and most of all...quiet! The Master bed faces forward and I could lie in bed and wake each morning looking at the ocean! I can't recommend this condo highly enough. You will not be disappointed.
